House Update

In our house buying process, we are finally to the point we should have been two months ago. We were having problems with the lender and no communication from the builder until last week. I finally called a different lender on Monday. An approval letter was sent to the builder the next day, and then today the design center called to schedule us to go pick all of our interior options. Obviously we should have tried this lender to begin with. Anyway, if everything else goes according to schedule (which we are fully aware is by no means guaranteed) our house should be done in January. Also, we're looking forward to our $7,500 home-buyer tax credit. Way to redistribute the wealth, Uncle Sam!
