St. George

Eric and I went to St. George to see Les Miserables at Tuacahn, to go to the temple, eat at In-n-Out, and relax. We left Nathan with my family and they were thrilled to have to him. Tuacahn is beautiful amphitheater in the red rock that is southern Utah. The cast was amazing! I had seen The Wizard of Oz there four years ago and really loved it, so I wanted to go back. Before the actual show there was a pre-show were actors from the show performed other songs for us, the first guy was very good, he sang a song he wrote for a female 'friend' that was leaving for Africa, so he gave her a compass and sang her this song about how he would be her North Star, and she never called so we are assuming she's still in Africa and there are no phones, poor guy... The next couple to perform for us was married and they like to remind us after every song they sang, so that got old pretty quick. We both really enjoyed the show, during Les Mis there is a battle scene and they used fireworks that scared me and the lady beside me, but Eric had seen them set it up a little so he was ready for it. Saturday we took it easy, went to the temple, ate, did a little shopping, (nothing was cute enough to bring home), and took a nap. It was nice to be able to just sleep without worrying if Nathan was going to be up anytime soon! Nathan had a ton of fun playing and being loved on at my Mom's, he barely knew we weren't there.
